From Lost Boy to Elder Price, Alum Nic Rouleau... →
Nic Rouleau spends most of his time these days backstage on the sixth floor of the Eugene O’ Neill Theatre in Midtown Manhattan. However, Rouleau isn’t stage managing, collecting props or assisting other actors with their costumes - he’s watching and waiting.
Rouleau’s eyes are locked on the The Book of Mormon’s Andrew Rannells on the chance that the Tony-nominated actor might need a stand-in at...

Submission: Standing Room
In response to that last submission:
No. Do not show up to the theatre that early. The cold weather is acting as a deterrent, because people know the show isn’t closing and will be around with the same cast for a whole other year. The only shows you have to start rushing in the early morning are ones with limited runs or with main cast members leaving soon. For BoM, your best bet is to...
Submission: Standing Room Info
I’m a Standing Room frequenter at DaBoM, and I often walk by the theatre to check the line. Just yesterday (Saturday), I checked the line at 3PM and there was only two people there. It gets long, VERY long after that though, so I’d say 3PM for an 8PM show is a very good idea.
Submission: Standing Room
I’ve never gotten into standing room any earlier than 8:30 a.m., and both times I was 5th or 6th in line for tickets. These were both in January. The one time I did standing room for an evening show (early February), I didn’t get there until about 1:15, and again was 5th or 6th in line.

Submission: Just a little note for those...
I have done standing room twice for BOM: once about 2 weeks into the run, and once over the summer. The 1st time I got there at about 5:30 A.M. and was the first person in line. The 2nd time I got there at 7:00 A.M. and I was the last one to get a ticket. These were both for 2:00 saturday shows. I don’t know how it has been recently, but I can’t imagine the lines getting much...
